Your faithful webmistresses are Jessica and Heather, two sisters with a dream of making Aasif Mandvi information more accessible to his many fans. What began as a simple search for information on Aasif's career has grown into the website you've hopefully just spent many AasifMandvi.net was born on March 14th, 2007. This site was created using Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, JASC Paint Shop Pro 8, and the little we've learned from being Live Journal addicts. It is optimized for Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. We're hosted by Godaddy.com. The photo used to create the banner was taken by Vikram Tank for Nirali Magazine. Any questions/comments/concerns can be addressed to Heather and Jessica at notaasif@aasifmandvi.net. As the e-mail address suggests, we are not Aasif.
If you'd like to be an affliate, please e-mail us.
More on Jessica and Heather... They are sisters, as mentioned above. They were both conveniently born in March, but one of them is older than the other. We will not say which. They live in seperate United States, which has either hindered or aided the creation of this site. Probably a bit of both. Heather is 5'5". Jessica is 5'4". Jessica does not mind being short. Heather does, even though she is taller. Jessica teaches English. Heather writes in it. Jessica also writes in English, which is prerequisite to teaching it. Jessica has a healthy passion for books. Heather has an unhealthy passion for music. The doctors have said there is no cure, which is fine because Heather does not feel she needs one. Jessica and Heather are happy to have had this opportunity to talk about themselves in the third person.
Thank you to Aasif Mandvi. Without you and your work, there would be no need for this website. We appreciate your talent and your generosity. Big thanks to Caitlin, for providing assistance and general support, as well as late night AIM distraction. Thank you to Katie for giving the advice of someone who has been there before. Lisa, Jenny, and Travis listen to our fangirl ramblings and give valuable feedback on whatever we show them. For that, they deserve much thanks. Thank you to generic cola and Mountain Dew, hot tea (both black and green), chocolate of many varieties, and numerous other foodstuffs, including cheese. Thank you to the music of Jonathan Coulton, the Indigo Girls, Scissor Sisters, Louise Attaque, Badly Drawn Boy, and Stevie Nicks. Thank you to bhangra and klezmer, to Ladino love songs, and to Irish ballads. Thank you to CNN and Food Network. Without all of these things, in various combinations, we would not be able to put this website together. And finally, thank you for visiting our site. We hope to see you again soon. Have a good day. |
